Firefighters in Billingborough to wash cars for good cause

Have your say

The crew at Billingborough fire station will be armed with buckets and sponges ready to wash your car on Saturday, March 22, in return for a donation towards the Fire Fighters Charity.

The station is one of 13 across the county taking part in The National Car Wash, the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year which raises cash to help serving and retired firefighters and their families.

This year Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue will be working hard to top the £2,000 that they raised from the car washes for the charity in 2013.

So if your car needs its wheels washing or bodywork buffing, drive into the station between 10am and 3pm.
