Fire crews mobilised to Mendlesham

Fire crews have been called to an out-of-control blaze at a garden shed in Main Street, Gunby this afternoon (Saturday, May 21).

Crews from Grantham and Corby Glen used two hose reels to extinguish the shed fire, which spread to a nearby car, wooden gate and trees.

The incident happened at about 2.30pm.

The fire was caused by a spark from a nearby brazier igniting the wooden shed.
