First-time runner aims to raise £200 for Dogs Trust by completing Burghley 7 event in Stamford

A runner is aiming to raise £200 for charity in his first ever road race, the Burghley 7 event in March.

Robin Atter, who only started running in November, is raising money for Dogs Trust and has so far clocked up more than half of his target.

Robin, who works at South Kesteven District Council, said: “I decided I needed something to keep fit and joined the South Kesteven running group on Mondays and Thursdays.
