HUNDREDS of people lined the road leading to Nene Valley Railway in Stibbington to see the Olympic flame before it moved to Peterborough.
The flame was carried in a small lantern to keep it alight before getting on a steam train to Orton in Peterborough. Once in Peterborough the torch was relit.
Siobhan Daplyn and her daughter Jasmine-Louise, three, who had made her own torch, from Stibbington, were waiting for the flame to arrive.
Siobhan said: “It is great to have something like this in the village for a change.”
