Langtoft United Football club offers 10 free spaces on half-term club to children of Thomas Cook employees following collapse of travel firm

Langtoft United Football Club is offering 10 free spaces on a half-term football camp to children of Thomas Cook employees living in the area.

Following yesterday's (Monday, September 23) shock announcement that the travel firm had collapsed after 178 years in business, organisations across Peterborough have rushed to show their support to colleagues affected by the news. The travel firm employed 9,000 people in the UK, including 1,000 at the company's headquarters in Lynch Wood, Peterborough, and more at the High Street, Stamford, branch.

On Twitter, Lantoft United said it was "devastated".
