Following the success of last year’s BRM Day, Bourne Motor Racing Club is welcoming former BRM team manager Tim Parnell, who will be in conversation with journalist Mike Jiggle at its May meeting.

Tim was a prolific pre and post war racing driver, giving BRM and the V16 its first victory at Goodwood in 1950.

Tim was team manager for all three of BRM’s Tasman campaigns in the 1960s and took over the management of the F1 team after the departure of Tony Rudd at the end of 1969 to 1974.

The meeting will take place at Bourne Corn Exchange Hall, on Thursday at 8pm. Visitors are £ 3 on the door. Copies of the commemorative BRM Day DVD will also be on sale at for £ 10.

More details about the club can be found online at the Bourne Motor Racing Club website.
