Former Mayor of Bourne presents proceeds of fundraising to Willoughby School

The former mayor of Bourne Philip Knowles has presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Willoughby School.

Coun Knowles visited the school in South Road, Bourne, to hand over the cheque to headteacher James Husbands, who was delighted. They are pictured with head boy William Baker and head girl Katie Eliker.

Coun Knowles raised the money through a variety of activities during 2015/16, including a beetle drive. His other charities are were the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Dementia Support South Lincs.Photo: Jonathan Smith
