John Curtis, of 42 Doughty Street, Stamford, will give people the chance to browse through his collection in his garage for the national day on Saturday next week.

John served in the navy for nine years and during his time he collected a range of memorabilia, including uniforms, model ships and flags.

He will open his garage for the public between 11am and 4pm.

Armed Forces Day celebrates the work of those currently serving in the forces and their families.
