Deepings School pupil’s elephant art proved unforgettable

A school has reunited one of its former pupils with a huge papier-mâché sculpture - 15 years after it was created.

Ed Broom made the true-to-life elephant head for his A-level art project and since then it has hung on display in the art department of The Deepings School.

But, when the time came for the old art block to be pulled down, rather than throw out Ed’s work, the school got in touch with his dad, John.
