Former Stamford High School pupil releases recipe book
A former Stamford High School pupil has launched a recipe book to help people incorporate more plants into their diets.
Since leaving the school, Celine Bangay spent three years as a recipe creator and food photographer specialising in plant-based and raw food dishes as well as teaching yoga.
Celine said: “Last summer due to Covid I had to cancel lots of yoga and wellness retreats .
“Instead I decided to focus my energy on putting recipes in writing, which I use all the time.”
She added: “They are recipes that nourish people and are simple but transform the way of looking at plant-based food.”
So far the 25-year-old has sold 50 copies of the book, For The Flexi, which is available in hard copy or as an e-book.
“A lot of people use it to cut down on meat and the result is tremendous,” said Celine.
“It gives them an increase in energy.”
