Musicians, young and old enjoyed a number of free taster sessions held at the Music and More shop in Oakham.

On March 21, the music shop took part in the national Learn to Play Day, promoted by Music For All.

The shop offered free taster sessions for budding musicians, including guitar, piano, saxophone and clarinet lessons.

A group of professional music teachers were on hand to share their expertise on the day.

Shop owner, Anne Mortimer said: “It was the ideal opportunity for people of all ages to learn to play a new instrument.”
