A free screening of the British comedy drama Military Wives will kick off a new season of cinema at Rutland County Museum.

Starring Kristin Scott Thomas, the film tells the story of a group of women who form a choir while their partners are serving in Afghanistan, and quickly find themselves at the centre of a media sensation and global movement.

The 180-seat venue at Catmos Street, Oakham, will fill on a first come, first served basis for this screening, although some seats will be reserved for Rutland Foodbank and Oakham Vaccination Hub volunteers.
