The Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice’s Lights of Love concert was held yesterday (Sunday, December 13) with carols, candles and fireworks.

For thousands of people across the area, Lights of Love has become a key event in the festive calendar, and yesterday’s event began at 5.30pm with a concert before being rounded off with a firework finale at 7pm.

And the centrepiece was, as usual, the Christmas tree decked out with handwritten messages of love, remembrance and inspiration.
