Game of Thrones star Ian Gelder who plays Kevan Lannister will be staring in a film in aid of The Phoebe Research Fund
Games of Thrones star Ian Gelder will be coming to Stamford to take part in a charity film in aid of the Phoebe Research Fund.
Ian, who plays Kevan Lannister in the hit series, will feature in a short film entitled 'The Invisible Collection'.
The film will be filmed in and around Stamford with 25 pence of every £1 pledged going directly to The Phoebe Research Fund, founded by Coronation Street actor Steve Arnold and his partner Zoe Crowson.
They set up the charity to raise both funds and awareness of recessive dystrophic epidermolosis bullosa, a condition which affects their daughter, Phoebe.
The nine year-old's skin can blister badly and break away at the slightest touch.
She also suffers internal blisters which can lead to problems with swallowing and choking.
Zoe Crowson said: "I met Ian Gelder on another film set and when I mentioned what we are doing, he said he would definitely support such an important cause such as The Phoebe Research Fund.
"It's great to bring directors and actors to areas such as Stamford because they have so much to offer.
"There are some outstanding locations which can be utilised."
