Village families joined members of a rotary club to plant a selection of trees in Manthorpe community garden and playground.

Under sparkling skies, the small team added five oaks, three apple trees, two horse chestnuts, and two cherry trees.

The tree-planting event was organised by Geoff Collett, a member of the Rotary Club of Stamford St Martin’s.
