VEGETABLE lovers took their green fingers to Barnsdale Gardens at the weekend to get some advice from experts in growing your own.
The vegetable weekend is an annual event at the gardens in Exton and the greenhouses and fruit and vegetable patches are opened to the public for viewing and to solve their own problems.
On Sunday the team from Barnsdale Lodge did cookery demonstrations using seasonal produce and cooked up some delicious snacks using courgettes, parsnips and strawberries.
For the second year in a row children were asked to design a crazy vegetable with some fantastic entries using real products.
This weekend John Shone from Rutland Willows will be demonstrating willow weaving at the gardens.
