Success for Barnsdale Gardens at Gardeners’ World Live Flower Show 2021

Barnsdale Gardens has won a gold award at the recent Gardeners' World Live Flower Show.

Rather than being held in June, the event took place at the end of August.

Nick Hamilton, the owner of Barnsdale Gardens in Exton, said: "It was great to have a completely different range of plants to play with and to give the show visitors the opportunity to see how to boost the late summer colour in their own gardens.”

The colourful display Nick and his team created was built to celebrate the life of his father, Geoff Hamilton, in the 25th year since he died.

Nick added: "Dad loved his plants and to produce such a vibrant display, using so many varieties within a small space, was the perfect way to celebrate his life.”

Barnsdale Gardens are open to visitors and have a tea room and nursery.
