Staff and their families at the Carlsberg Distribution Depot in Bourne have been delivering festive cheer by donating all of the gifts they collected over Christmas.

The depot along with the Len Pick Trust have been working together to distribute the goods to deserving causes within the town.

Debbie Yates, from the depot located in Spalding Road, Bourne, said: “As a company we like to play our part in the community and we are very pleased once again to be able to build on the success of previous year’s collections.

“We would also like to thank the Len Pick Trust for helping us to distribute the goods to deserving causes within the town.”

Charles Houseago, chairman of the Len Pick Trust, who helped to deliver the goods on behalf of Carlsberg said: “We are delighted to co-operate again with Carlsberg. We know how much these gifts men to so many people.

“The sheer volume of the goods donated increases every year and we know that the many families and individuals who receive these goods really do appreciate the fantastic effort that has been made by the depot staff and their families to help make Christmas a special time.”

The gifts have not only been distributed to those individuals in need, but also to a number of agencies within the town such as The Salvation Army, Toolbar, The Butterfield Centre and The Wellhead Centre.
