The eight head gardeners at Edenham Primary School have been working hard to produce beautiful geraniums to be displayed at next week’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The pupils spent two months carefully tending the potted rooted cuttings of zonal pelargoniums on the windowsills of Class 4. The nine best specimens will be displayed as part of one of the gardens in Sunflower Square entitled ‘Rising Stars’.

Headteacher Kris Rea said the children had done getting the plants to the size and condition, given the varied weather conditions during the season.
