The Wicked Witch in Ryhall is hosting a fundraising event on Sunday (February 28), in aid of Jack Rickard, from Barnack who has been bravely battling the effects of cerebral palsy since he was born.

A grand raffle will be held at the pub, from 4pm, to help raise funds for Jack, aged six, to have surgery known as selective dorsal rhizotomy.

So far more than 30 raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses and the restaurant will provide food on the night.

The Broken Stones band will be playing live, followed by Disco Eminence.

People will be asked to donate a minimum of £5 to come in. Raffle tickets are £1 each or £5 for a book of five.

If you would like to donate a prize for the raffle, please call organiser, Maureen on 01780 753930.
