Great British Dog Walk returns

National charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s much-loved Great British Dog Walk is back and it’s coming to Belvoir Castle for the second time on Sunday.

Over 200 dogs of all shapes and sizes and around 300 adults, children and families are expected to take part.

The event is one of 20 walks taking place around the UK helping to ensure more hearing dogs can be trained.

Hearing Dog recipient Stephen Akhurst said his dog Riley had changed his life. “I am now completely confident going out alone, my best friend by my side.”

On the day there are two options of walks – either 8km or 3km routes making it an ideal event for everyone.
