A new village sign was recently placed on the small village green in the centre of Greetham.

The sign, designed by Judy Swinfen, a village resident and artist, depicts the church, Jacobs Well, Halliday’s Yard and the village stream. She is pictured above.

The new sign, along with the village notice board was made by Leander Architectural, based near Buxton.

The idea was promoted by Peter Hitchcox, a member of Greetham Parish Council and was made possible by donations from Cory Environmental, Kendrew Barracks and contributions from villagers.
