On Wednesday, May 18, Tesco Bourne, through the Community Champion Vivien Hamilton, invited 13 people, and Captains Kevin and Wendy Brown, all from the Salvation Army in Bourne for afternoon tea.

After tasty sandwiches, clotted cream scones, and home made cakes and lots of tea and coffee we had two rounds of fun quizzes.

Vivien said: “I think everyone would agree that they all had a lovely time, and everyone left with wonderful smiles and clutching a goody bag, good friendships been made. Many thanks to everyone, from the store, who helped support the event.”
