Plans for Bourne's Platinum Jubilee celebrations finalised

Organisers have finalised celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June.

Speaking at a Bourne Town Council meeting on Tuesday (May 3), mayor Paul Fellows said: “This will be better than any other town because of the contribution you are all making.”

  • Bourne Festival, organised by Bourne and District Round Table, on the Wellhead begins at 6pm on Thursday, June 2, and will continue until 8pm on Sunday, June 5.

Entertainment on the Friday and Saturday will run from midday until 11pm and there will be dozens of real ales and ciders available, and live music.
