Have a say on Rutland County Counil’s changes to planning documents
Rutland County Council is inviting members of the public to review and comment on new documents that offer help to prospective developers and those applying for planning permission.
A public consultation has been launched around a series of draft supplementary planning documents relating to home extensions, garden extensions and shop fronts, including signs and shop security.
The documents are intended to support the policies within Rutland County Council’s new local plan, as well as providing more detailed guidance to anyone looking to carry out building work on a dwelling or commercial property.
Copies of the individual documents can be viewed online at: www.rutland.gov.uk/spd and are also available for inspection at the Council Offices and local libraries.
Members of the public are invited to comment before the consultation period ends at 4.45pm on Monday, January 26.
Comments can be submitted by email to: email@example.com or sent in writing to: Mr D Troy, Planning Policy and Housing Manager, Rutland County Council, Council Offices, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HP.
