Residents are being reminded they still have time to submit their views as part of a consultation taking place into proposed changes to eligibility criteria and charges for social care services.
Rutland County Council agreed to hold a 12-week consultation with those living in the county over plans to possibly amend the eligibility criteria, which would include people with moderate needs no longer qualifying for services, and a rise in the cost of care, which has not increased since 2008.
The next meeting is taking place on Tuesday, from 2pm to 4pm, at Voluntary Action Rutland in Oakham.
Meetings are also being held at St Mary’s Congregational Hall in Ketton on May 23, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and on May 25, from 10am to midday, as well as at Ryhall Village Hall on May 29 from 2pm to 4pm.
