Head of Kirkstone House School in Baston responds to parent's criticism after findings of 'serious regulatory failings' by Independent Schools Inspectorate

The headteacher of an independent school has responded to criticism that it has failed to meet required standards.

Corinne Jones said she was confident that Kirkstone House School in Baston was providing the best possible education for its 121 pupils.

It comes after the school received a notice from the Department for Education (DfE) in February requiring it to draw up an action plan for improvement.
