A YOGA workshop has helped people to a better body, mind and soul by using laughter therapy.
Linda Nightingale ran the Bourne to Laugh class at Wake House in North Street, Bourne, on Saturday afternoon.
About 15 people attended the workshop, which Linda describes as “laughter yoga”.
Qualified laughter yoga leader Linda, of Beech Avenue, Bourne, was delighted with how it went, following on from a similar class held in November.
She said: “It was lovely because quite a few new people came along, as well as those who came last time, and they were all very enthusiastic about it.”
Laughter yoga involves different laughter, breathing and gentle stretching exercises with participants being encouraged to let their child-like playfulness come to the fore to convert fake laughter into real laughter.
After two successful sessions, Linda has decided to continue the group on a regular basis at Wake House twice a month on different days.
The laughter yoga sessions cost £5 per person and are suitable for people aged 16 and over.
The next one will be held on Monday, January 30, from 1.30pm, and then there will also be another workshop on Saturday, February 11, from 1.30pm.
