New children’s centre to be opened at Sense in Market Deeping

A CENTRE for deafblind children will be officially opened on Thursday.

Mayor of Market Deeping, Coun Reg Howard, will unveil a plaque at a special open day at the new children’s centre at Sense Manor Lodge in Church Street, Market Deeping.

The centre is run by Sense, the deafblind charity, and caters for children with multi-sensory impairment.

Facilities include a family room with specialist equipment to encourage learning and communication in a relaxed environment.
