Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Trust chief Dr Peter Reading to speak at Stamford Town Council meeting

The interim chief executive of the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Trust will speak to councillors at a meeting tomorrow (Tuesday).

Dr Peter Reading will answer questions from Stamford town councillors about a delay to redevelopment work at Stamford Hospital

The development plan has been put on hold while a major review of finances is carried out.

A business plan for the hospital was due to be presented to Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Trust board members at a meeting the same day.

But the presentation has been put back while an independent review is carried out into the trust as a whole.

Mayor Bob Sandall will also allow questions from the public.

The council meeting will take place in the town hall in St Mary’s Hill, Stamford, at 7pm. Dr Reading will speak at the start of the meeting.
