HOSPITAL car parks are now open to the public.
Landscaping work at Peterborough City Hospital came to an end on Tuesday and patients and visitors can now use car parks A, C, D, E and F.
Hospital staff with permits can use the multi-storey car park B.
Associate director of projects at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Angela Broekhuizen said the work had created 623 parking spaces and 55 disabled bays on the land where Edith Cavell Hospital once stood.
She added: “This, in addition to our other car parks around the hospital site, gives us 2,006 spaces in total which includes 96 disabled bays and 25 extra wide spaces.”
