YOUNG film-makers could win a day with a top advertising director.
Lincolnshire County Council’s Smokefree Lincs Alliance is challenging youngsters in the county to make a film which persuades their friends not to smoke.
The films are to be entered in Cut Films, an annual competition for under-24s run by anti-smoking charity the Deborah Hutton Campaign.
The overall winner will receive film equipment for their local school or youth club and a workshop with commercial director Charlie Stebbings.
Smokefree Lincs Alliance also hopes to use submissions in its local campaigns in March.
Young persons’ tobacco control specialist for Smokefree Lincs Alliance Daniel Lowbridge said: “Everyone deserves the chance to understand just what cigarettes are like and what that small white tube can really do.
“That’s why this competition is a great chance for young people to create and produce their discoveries about the truth of smoking.
