Monthly advice sessions will be trialled at a hospital.

The South Kesteven Citizens Advice Bureau, based in High Street, Stamford, has started an outreach clinic at Stamford Hospital to give people the opportunity to gain advice and support in a confidential setting.

The pilot scheme will be available once a month from 10am to midday on May 21, June 18, July 16 and August 13.

The registered charity will be based in the meeting room located next to the main entrance of the hospital. During the sessions advisors can assist with issues relating to debt, welfare benefits, employment, housing, relationships and legal advice.

Matron and site manager for Stamford Hospital Sue Brooks, said: “We are really pleased to be able to provide a space for the Citizen Advice Bureau to offer this support for the people of Stamford. “It will give both staff and the public the opportunity to gain advice in a private setting.”
