PEOPLE were able to find out more about the history of farming during an open weekend.
Sacrewell Farm held its annual Country Life and Shire Horse Show on Saturday and Sunday. During the weekend, there was the opportunity for visitors to make their own bread in the bakery, grind wheat into flour at the watermill and see the shire horses being put through their paces.
Communications officer Laura Fanthorpe said: “We had a really successful weekend and luckily the rain stayed away.”
The Northamptonshire Paranormal Investigation Team will also be holding a ghost hunt at the farm on Friday, November 30, from 10pm onwards. Tickets cost £10 from 01536 460097.
Last week we carried the incorrect adult prices for the Country Life show. We apologise for the error.
