HOMELESS people enjoyed a tasty lunch cooked by a top chef.
Thierry Daugeron, who runs a catering business and Stamford Cookery School, spent the day at Peterborough and Fenland Mind’s office in Peterborough, offering freshly-baked bread and homemade soup to homeless people.
The event was run by Mind, which secured funding from Peterborough City Council to run the event.
Mr Daugeron has been working with Mind since October, offering cookery courses to improve people’s confidence.
He said: “Mind wanted to do some work with homeless people and the event was very successful.
“It went extremely well and I was very pleased to be involved.”
