Nearly 300 households have submitted their broadband speeds to Digital Rutland as part of a recent campaign targeting 15 villages across the county.

Although most homes and businesses now have access to superfast broadband, an extra £180,000 of matched government funding could be made available to target some areas that are unable to receive minimum download speeds of at least 24mbps. Rutland county councillors are set to discuss the issue at meetings on June 17 and July 7.
