Animal expert Karen Wild discusses dog communication

Picture the scene. Your dog meets another one in the park, on a field, or even just outside your house.

Your dog starts to bark. The other dog doesn’t even flinch! Just keeps plodding past with its nose in the air.

Next day, your dog sees the same dog and it stares at your dog, hard. Your dog doesn’t make a sound. These dogs are clearly having some sort of conversation!
