Red Arrows decision is 'huge disappointment' for MP who campaigned to bring the display team to RAF Wittering

A local MP has expressed 'huge disappointment' about the Ministry of Defence decision to relocate the Red Arrows to RAF Waddington rather than RAF Wittering.

RAF Wittering, along with RAF Leeming and RAF Waddington, had been shortlisted as a potential new home for the world famous Red Arrows.

Shailesh Vara, MP for North West Cambridgeshire, which includes Wittering village, had campaigned hard to try to bring the Red Arrows to the nearby base.
