PEOPLE were showing off their creative side at a produce event at the weekend.
Cakes, jams, flowers and vegetables were a part of the 270 entries into this year’s Langham Produce Show at the village hall on Saturday.
The winners included Caroline Suter, who won the John Hassan Trophy for most points in show, and Theresa Dewar, who received the Kirk Cup for best exhibit. The Hosmer Junior Trophy was awarded to Fergus and Finn Simpson.
Event coordinator Rob Morris, said: “It all went very well.
“It’s the first show that’s been held since 2009 so it’s really good to get it back up and running.
“We were slightly down on numbers than in previous years due to the terrible weather, particular in the fruit and vegetable categories, but it was very well supported all the same.
“We had some great entries and I would like to express my thanks to everyone who stepped forward to help with the show.”
