Inquest opened and adjourned into the death of Alfie Binch, who died after being hit by a car on the A606 Empingham Road in Tinwell, Rutland and near Stamford




An inquest into the death of a young man who died near Tinwell has been opened and adjourned by the Rutland and North Leicestershire coroner.

Alfie Binch, who was in his early 20s and from Bottesford, was involved in a collision with a car on the A606 Empingham Road near Tinwell on the evening of August 17.

The incident happened at 10.50pm between the junctions of Water Lane and Steadfold Lane and involved a blue Jaguar XF.
