Tips on how to avoid the police in Lincolnshire

An inspector keen for people to have a good start to 2021 has given his top three tips for avoiding the police.

And the first is as simple as turning a key.

"If people want to avoid becoming the victim of burglary, locking the doors of their home is an essential step," said Insp Gary Stewart of Stamford, Bourne and Deepings police.
