Little House of Oasis in Stamford heads towards Good Friday opening

Stamford's Little House of Oasis fashion store is heading towards its Good Friday opening next week.

The venture at 55 High Street used to contain Jones Bootmaker and will employ eight people.

Workmen are busily carrying out renovations to the building, which also previously contained a Santander and Bradford & Bingley building society.

Manager Chloe Masters said: "We are a womenswear fashion brand who spread colour, print and loveliness to our customers.

"We are bringing this to Stamford in the form of our Little House of Oasis concept.

"It is an Oasis store tailored for a smaller market town, more like a boutique than our bigger stores.

"We are opening on April 19 with bubbly and treats for our new customers.

"We are very excited to be part of the high street in Stamford."

Stamford's Little House of Oasis will be the ninth in the boutique fashion chain.

The first such store opened in Fareham, Surrey, two years ago.
