Dickinson's Real Deal, ITV's hit daytime television programme is returning to the East of England Arena on Saturday (July 24).

The event is free, and people with antiques or collectables can visit the arena to get free advice about the history and value of the items. There will also be a chance for some visitors to play the game and appear on television as well.

David Dickinson, presenter, has fond memories of the region. He said: "I’m very much looking forward to visiting Peterborough, it's an area of the country I love bringing the show to.

"I remember visiting the area several times. The items brought in were fantastic-great quality - with fabulous history and stories attached.

"People of Peterborough, come along and get the 'Real Deal'."

Dickinson's Real Deal showcases people selling antiques and collectibles with entertaining haggling between the owners and potential buyers.

The event will run between 8am and 5pm, and people are required to bring photo ID.

Jason Lunn, venue director of East of England Arena and Events Centre, said: "I'm delighted to welcome David and his wonderful show to our venue, and want to reassure the public there will be sensible Covid-19 measures in place to ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing."
