Jobs and training in Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings




The number of people claiming Universal Credit increased in Rutland and South Kesteven during September.

In Rutland the number rose by 39 people to 1,990 in total. In South Kesteven the rise was 71, bringing the total at the start of October to 10,866 people claiming benefits.

In addition, Jobcentre Plus has teamed up with Google Digital Garage to offer webinars called 'Find my career goals' and 'Build my CV and cover letter' on December 1 and 3.

For those considering healthcare work, there is a virtual event on in December. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is also currently recruiting for new work coaches.
