Enjoy a pleasant stroll around Ferry Meadows on June 21 in aid of a loving animal charity.

The Great British Greyhound Walk is an annual dog-walking event that brings together greyhounds, lurchers, other sighthounds and their owners to raise awareness of the breeds and show the public just what wonderful pets they make.

A walk has been organised locally at Ferry Meadows in aid of Kama’s Cave Greyhound Sanctuary in Holbeach Drove - the East Anglian branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust.

The walk will begin at 11am and will last for approximately one hour. Please meet at the Watersports Centre from 10.30am.

On the day there will also be a tombola, greyhound themed raffle and goods for sale.
