People can give back to the environment this Christmas by joining in with a planting day.

The Forest for Peterborough project has invited people to join them at Grange Farm in Wittering from 10am to 4pm tomorrow. The free event is open to everyone. Festive refreshments will be provided and people only need to bring wellies and a Christmas jumper.

The project was launched by Peterborough Environment City Trust in 2010. It aims to plant over 180,000 trees in the city and the surrounding area.
