A book sale is set to raise funds for two good causes.

The sale of second hand books in the reception area of Stamford Hospital is an important source of income for the Friends of the Hospital [FoSH], but during the pandemic however this has not been possible and the books are mounting up.

The village hall in Easton-on-the-Hill, a registered charity, has also been hit by the pandemic with little activity possible, and it has become difficult to raise the income needed to sustain the charity.

Joining together, the two charities have agreed to help each other by organising book sales at the village hall with refreshments available.

The first event will be on Saturday, December 4 from 10am to 4pm. Parking will be available.
