Residents at a care home in Bourne have received a ‘kind’ donation from a charity group.

Dementia Support South Lincs donated £100 to the residents of The Cedars Care Home, in Church Walk, Bourne.

The money donated will be used to help purchase a specialist activities games mat for use by the residents, with the assistance of the Cedars Recreation and Activities Team.

Heather Gilling, chairman of Dementia Support South Lincs, presented the cheque for £100 to Helen Brewster, matron at The Cedars.

Dementia Support South Lincs holds monthly meetings at The Cedars, to help support and improve the quality of life of people living with dementia and their carers.

They offer access to information on a wide range of topics to provide a better understanding of dementia.
