Lancashire man denies Deeping St James assault and car damage

A Lancashire man has denied assault by beating and criminal damage to a car in Deeping St James.

Russell Jowett, 46, of Sherrat Street, Skelmersdale, pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man and causing £150 worth of damage to a Toyota Privia on Bridge Street, Deeping St James on May 16.

A trial will now take place at Grantham magistrates on December 16, with Jowett remaining on conditional bail not to contact any member of staff of a Market Deeping taxi firm.
