Large straw fire at farm in Northorpe

Firefighters from two stations had to deal with a straw blaze at a farm in Northorpe on Friday morning.

Crews from Bourne and Market Deeping were called to a farm in Fen Road where about 40 tonnes of straw were reported to be alight at about 9.15am.

The fire was put out with the use of a water hose jet.
